This course is designed to extend participants’ internal auditing skills to meet the IACTA training requirements for external auditors. The course meets and exceeds the requirements for training leading to recognition as a Lead Auditor by Auditor Training and Certification Associations (including QSA and JAS-ANZ). The course provides a hand-on approach to all aspects of auditing with learning being reinforced through participation in several realistic audit situations and role- play under the close guidance of a course presenter.
Course Prerequisites
All course participants must demonstrate that they have successfully completed an acceptable Internal Auditor course. In addition, each participant must demonstrate acceptable experience in auditing within their own organization, or that of their suppliers, against a recognized management system standard. The course also assumes a good working knowledge of the philosophies and general requirements of the ISO 9000 series of standards and related guides as applied to management systems in the participant’s industry sector.
